Gods Eater Burst 02

It's odd, having a knife and a tower shield together...
Equipment combines nicely, a shield, a gun, and a blade; all-in-one package!
Right, no more standing around, gotta complete the appointments, and get on with the missions!
Hm, is it the lab...
Licca says it would be beneficial to talk to her, after the mission is completed, and said something about stun grenades, that she can bring some, if all of 'em will be used up.
Take a mission, and enter The Den Gate; there are plenty of Aragami outside...
Hibari Takeda is a receptionist, who gives out mission orders!
The Devil's Tail mission, at the City of Mercy...
The objective would be: to eliminate the Ogretail; pierce attacks work well against them!
Two members will be assigned to the mission, Ninja and Lindow; Lindow's class is Corporal, that's reassuring.
Survive and don't die, good orders, just follow 'em rookie!
Not jumping too high, maybe because of the heavy tower shield...
Found a Carbon Fibre, in the L Zone.
A herb case, in the I zone.
This City is so empty, like there is nothing that moves, except us...
How big is the Ogretail anyway?
A medical kit obtained, in the H zone.
Picked up a flash bomb, near the J zone.
Brittle Titanium was sparkling in the K zone; and finally saw our target on the map.
A big red dot on the map; maybe it will be a little bigger than expected.
Will use a gun on it, to shoot it from safety; a close quarters sword fight will be exciting too; soon will find out, how strong it is!
Oh, it's getting away, after it!
The creature isn't so big, and its grey appearance matches the buildings nearby.
Success, shot at it with freeze bullets, and took it down with the Knife attacks.
Aragami Claw, and Aragami Bone Chip will be put to use; the herbs are a welcomed addition too.
One boring lecture about Aragami, and how to fight them...
Aragami are a fusion of one-celled organisms, so conventional weapons do not cause any real damage to them, because Aragami can re-fuse their cells; instant regeneration.
We on the other hand, carry Bio-infused weapons, our attacks sever the cell links of Aragami, and therefore preventing regeneration; that's sums it up.
A mail, opening it.
Four mails...
Hibari is saying Hello, thanking for successful completion of the medical checkup; and if have any combat related questions, then talk to Tsubaki, or Gen.
Lindow's message, saying: the mission went great!
Kanon writes, about how we met in the corridor; and thanking for support.
Corridor, to the laboratory?
And a message from Shun, that states: remember who are superiors, and who are juniors!
Yeah, the God Arc worked fine; two weapons and a shield combined into one.
A laser is quite effective; a succession of laser beams, pierce through the Aragami...
Trained dodging Aragami's rush attacks; although, the Aragami at the training facility, weren't the best, when it comes to maneuverability...
The stun grenade training; could be useful, if will be fighting many, at the same time, or in solo missions.
Stun grenades scare Aragami; pack control!
A mortar would probably devastate, if Aragami will come attacking in great numbers.
An advantage, in how quickly can change position; strike from the sides, or the rear!
Yes, yes, the Arc; to devour all Aragami, and to obtain skills.
Hm, Burst...
With the flow of life force in the Burst condition: stamina improves, the movements become faster, and jumping over opponents, can all be achieved.
Scavenge for materials, during devouring...
To receive Items after devouring, the devouring should be performed on a defeated Aragami; and defeated Aragami, should be devoured fast, because they disappear after a few seconds.
Items aren't gathered, if devour is performed on a living Aragami...
A Long-range specialist, Sakuya Tachibana, an instructor in the next mission; how about some solo runs first?
Sakuya fights from long-range, and two Cocoon Maidens, which we'll set off to defeat, will not move; good opportunity to snipe them, from behind cover!
Wow, by sacrificing half the health, can bring comrades back on their feet; it can be worth it.
Can give Burst to other team members, by firing an Aragami bullet at them; this will also give 'em the specially condensed Aragami bullet...
In the Cowboy mission, there are four Ogretails that should be defeated; there is also, a Vajra, an Aragami that is too strong, for a beginner, and it's better to just hide from it, or run; or whatever; a cat and a mouse...
Let's check the base some more...
Rookies' Section clear!
Veterans' Section, has none!
It's better, to just go on a new mission...
A Knife can be upgraded, into a more sturdy form, with Brittle Titanium.
The materials, to upgrade the gun, and a shield, aren't founded yet; will keep looking!
Fusion bullets look cool; they do have a tendency to wear out the user though.
The Fallen Angel Egg mission, at the City of Mercy...
Objective: is to destroy one Zygote, a flying Aragami.
Lindow will be accompanying Ninja on this mission!
Again, the mission starts, with no Aragami in sight; will be looking for Items in the meantime.
A herb case was salvaged in the I zone.
Carbon Fibre in the L zone; in the corner, as usual...
Spotted the target, and picked up a few Items on the way too; time to hunt, and devour; the faster will end here, the sooner will advance to the more important tasks, where new party members could be met!
Zygote was floating; it wasn't high enough, so managed to jump and slash at it, till it fell; the devouring began afterwards, and new Items were received in the process.
Now, to a more dangerous mission: four Ogretails, and the powerful Aragami, that should be avoided at all cost!
A barren wasteland, and it is raining...
This Cowboy mission, will be a notch higher than others...
It came, the bigger Aragami, the size of it really shows; will avoid it, for now...
Used a stun grenade, cause there is no other sure way to loose the Large Aragami!
Can easily outrun most of the Aragami, in the Burst condition; still, running in circles is...
Have been saved, by Lindow; guess need to use much stronger restore pills.
Maybe to get on the higher ground; a temporary solution, until the bullets run out...
Only one Ogretail remains; another circle...
Did it, got the last Ogretail beaten, and devoured; to survive a trip out of this mission, is also a part of the mission!
Spent plenty of recovery Items, on that last mission, need to restock; the beast, the Aragami, was like a huge Lion, with saber-tooth's teeth, made energy blasts, and shook the ground when jumping, creating shocks along the ground.
Since the mission ended successfully, that's all that matters; more Link Bursts would be nice though...
Although received many new materials, it's still a little early, for the creation of the new types of equipment; and upgrades, aren't the exception either.
Lindow was a big help, reviving in the middle of battle!
Recovery should be taken more seriously, in the missions with the cannot be defeated Aragami!

Gods Eater Burst 01

Okay, getting used to Headquarters!
The inventory...
Restore Pills, Stun Grenades, OG Restore Ball and Post, and a Snare Trap; just two snare traps, adds snare effect to monsters; hm, later!
So many bullets available; think will go with, the chill normal, and bolt mortar; will test them soon.
Code name Ninja, for the new recruit, assigned to prepare at Fenrir Far East Branch; wanna take a look at the facility...
Should go towards the lab; again, tests...
Many items for sale, should get the Detox Pill first, cures Venom; just in case, if some monster, will be poisonous.
To complete the training, would need to take the elevator, to meet up with the professor in a lab.
Want to use a Tower Shield, and wow, is it Huge!
For gun, an assault type, with rapid fire, will make it easier to handle multiple opponents.
And a Knife for a blade, for quicker movements; just in case, if need to get away...
And once the rookie training is over, will go, on a first mission!
A mail from Kota Fujiki, kind of scared of Ms. Tsubaki, and can't ask her anything; shouldn't be that scared of supervisors, they are there for a reason...
We are recruited to fight Aragami, and the most often seen one, is Ogretail, has quite the teeth.
Hm, what's in the Veterans Section?
The Veterans Section, is more like, Restricted Area Section for rookies!
Can use Devour in a Combo, that seems useful, yet kinda pointless, unless really are surrounded, and in a tight spot!
Different bullets can be created, using different modules; all can be customized: the range of a shot, how it gets to the target; what it does, when it hits; and what it does, when it doesn't hit the target.
Alright, enough of explanations, it's time to go to the lab!
Medical checkup in the laboratory...
Next to Doctor Sasaki's lab, there is a Sick Bay, where the wounded are treated, probably those that were seriously wounded, or got seriously hurt, were brought here; there must be many medical specialists here, at this location; still wonder, how many rookies were hurt?
Was this a checkup: was sleeping the whole time?!
Oh well, at least learned from Johannes, the head of Fenrir Branch, that we recruits are here to fend off the Aragami, and gather resources; until the Aegis Project is finalized, and with it in place, the Aragami would not be a threat to anyone, in the Aegis' Protected Zone.
